IT Support-Contract 6 months C to H-San Francisco, Ca

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Provide IT Help Desk support, including staff computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, networking, videoconferencing, printers, and phones
  • Perform hardware repairs, upgrades and migrations
  • Resolve problems in a timely manner or escalate on behalf of customers to senior technical staff
  • Support endpoint security standards (antivirus/firewall/patching/two-factor       authentication)
  • Handle system access and maintain user accounts, passwords, data integrity & security
  • Help to evaluate hardware and software solutions and participate in IT projects
  • Help to manage inventory management, the asset life-cycle, and how to maintain an organized help desk
  • Document issues while providing updates to management, the team, and end users
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • 6+ months of IT experience, with a strong technical foundation
  • Basic knowledge of Mac, Linux, and Windows workstation setup and maintenance
  • Ability to travel to our local data center facility, and lift/move (up to 50 lbs) equipment
  • B.S. Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline is a plus
