Game QA Analyst-Contract- Irvine, Ca (Remote)- Must have MMO Testing Exp!

Responsibilities

  • Deliver test design, test execution, test library maintenance, and test closure results through both manual and automated Grey-box test approaches
  • Develop test plans with a strategic selection of test methodologies, including but not limited to data validation, regression testing, integration testing, and performance/load testing
  • Partner with other developers in the creation of requirements so that they can be e?ectively tested
  • Responsible for adhering to department SLAs within project management (i.e. JIRA) and test related tools (i.e. TestRail)
  • Ensure deployment stability across all environments
  • Research, recommend, and adopt tools as needed with the goal of increasing test coverage through automation
  • Use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality
  • Be a creative thinker who can quickly and thoroughly identify and test for ‘edge cases’ outside of expected functionality
  • Help others develop appropriate knowledge and skills through training and constructive feedback

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (or 1+ years of equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 1 years’ experience in software testing
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically QA processes in agile and waterfall development environments
  • Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and action on data sets and complex workflows
  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or equivalent a plus
  • Experience with game engines, content and asset editors, and shared technologies
  • Passion for games and software quality

Five years of experience in Workday configuration. The candidate should possess Workday skills in the following:

  • Business Process creation and modification
  • Reporting, Dashboards, Calculated Fields across all functional areas

Sr. Project Manager-Digital Online Banking – C to H- East Bay Area

Looking for a Sr. Project Manager-Digital Online Banking who will be responsible for leading project teams to deliver project(s) for Online Banking. Projects span across one or more business units. Managing resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and SDLC control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of RFP, Vendor Management process, issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

The Sr. Project Manager-Digital Online Banking has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.  The individual must be extremely adaptable, independent lead, and provide overall quality control to the project.  Experience in leading technology solutions is required with a firm understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies. The role collaborates to define scope, requirements, project governance, design, testing, timeline, adheres to company PMO standards. The role requires exceptional communication skills and an ability to build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
  • Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
  • Manage project scope and changes

Minimum Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP Certification) preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or similar
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience
  • 10 or more years of professional IT experience in large scale, distributed environment with hands on experience in multiple technologies
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver on complex technology projects
  • Experience in managing Online Banking/financial industry/digital banking projects
  • 4+ years’ experience in financial services
  • Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall
  • Experience managing vendors and RFP process
  • Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary
  • Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close
  • Producing project progress reports on actual vs baseline
  • Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), SharePoint and Microsoft Projects
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations, while adhering to their responsibilities and project milestone
