Requirements

Manufacturing Engineer- Medical Device- Redwood City, CA (Contract-18 Months)

Overview:

The Engineering contractor will work directly with a team of experienced engineers to assist in a major facility move, including equipment procurement, installation, qualification, and troubleshooting. Auris is seeking motivated individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in complex engineering techniques. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute equipment and process IQ/OQ/PQ, including drafting protocols and reports
  • Manage capital equipment, fixture, tooling procurement and materials for line qualification
  • Coordinate activities and logistics related to equipment assembly & qualification
  • Assemble equipment ranging from benchtop fixtures to complex capital equipment
  • Solve manufacturing line issues related to equipment and perform complex repairs with limited guidance

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: B.S in engineering or a related discipline or currently enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree
  • Preferred: experience with facility moves and line duplications
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to engage in self-directed learning and remain productive with minimal supervision
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Hardware Test Technician-Contract- Foster City, Ca

As a part of our Hardware Test team, our technicians setup, execute, and debug tests on our sensors and compute hardware. Our team is responsible for testing hardware to ensure high performance and high reliability. We are detail oriented to ensure our test plans are executed with high fidelity. We are collaborative and work together to tackle projects as a team. We are looking for motivated individuals who have experience with electrical subsystems, aren’t afraid to challenge themselves and are eager to learn.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General harness fabrication and testing
  • Support test setups by following diagrams and working with engineers to collect data
  • Provide feedback to engineers on how to improve testing
  • Manage calibration of test equipment by external vendors
  • Test equipment procurement and support
  • Maintain and optimize hardware labs
  • Attach instrumentation (thermocouples, probes, accelerometers) to test units

QUALIFICATIONS

  • AA or higher in electrical/electronics/mechanical technology, or equivalent
