IT helpdesk support (onsite)

  • Associate degree in business, computer science, or similar degree
  • At least two to three years’ experience in a similar help desk support position
  • A strong ability to analyze complex problems logically while paying attention to users’needs.
  • Software support experience for users of PCs, Macs and mobile devices
  • Experience supporting Windows 7 or later, Apple OS X Mavericks or later, iOS and Android
  • Advanced desktop, laptop and mobile device hardware support skills.
  • Advanced familiarity with G Suite Microsoft Office 2010 or later.
  • Excellent analytical, technical as well as non-technical English communication skill
  • Self-motivated, highly reliable and able to work both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Ability to pay high attention to detail and to multi-task under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to efficiently troubleshoot immediate problems and offer long-term solutions.
  • Willing to work set hours as well as occasional overtime

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in business, computer science, or similar degree
  • Experience with G Suite and Office 365 Exchange Online
  • Familiarity with setting up advanced features of Outlook 2010+ for PC and Mac
  • Experience supporting an Enterprise level CRM to a wide range of users
  • Experience with GSuite, Confluence, Zoom  and ZenDesk

Responsibilities overview:

  • Provide Level 1 and 2 desktop and application support to all staff in San Francisco headquarters, across nationwide branches, work-from-home staff, and to a lesser extent our staff overseas also.
  • First response and dispatch of new support tickets in Zendesk
  • Setup of new and replacement PC and Mac desktops/laptops, with IT managed software
  • Software installation and general support for PC, Mac, Mobile. (Includes Antivirus, Online File collaboration, Asset Management, CRM, Office Products, Adobe Suite and other business applications).
  • Repair and maintenance of failed hardware components in desktops and laptops
  • Setup and maintenance of printers/MFPs, working with printer servicing company
  • Hosted VOIP nationwide phone system setup and support
  • Business owned cell phone setup and support
  • Network user login management and access privileges
  • Maintain IT asset management (inventory) system
  • Antivirus, Patch Management and Mobile Device Management oversight
  • Documentation of Software licenses and Computer configurations
  • Learning and skill development

Pay Rate-$35-40 DOE
