Positions in this class may perform any or all of the below listed duties.  These should be interpreted as examples of the work, and are not necessarily all-inclusive.

  1. Analyzes, monitors, troubleshoots and resolves network performance, integrity, security, availability, and other network issues and problems; coordinates the resolution of vendor problems.
  2. Analyzes, reviews, recommends, and optimizes technologies to enhance network performance; evaluates and recommends network software, hardware, and inter-connectivity products.
  3. Performs day-to-day LAN and server administration; creates or maintains network users, groups, rights, login scripts;  network printer configurations; creates, modifies, and deletes user accounts, groups, resources, membership rights and security access for e-mail.
  4. May plan, design, install, optimize, upgrade, and maintain systems and software; configures vendor software to meet requirements; monitors performance of hardware and operating system software and make recommendations to correct problems or improve performance; establish and monitor procedures for data security and access to computer systems; designs and maintains backup and recovery procedures.
  5. Evaluate software and hardware, writes recommendation for management review; prepares documentation, procedures, reports, specifications, program descriptions, operating instructions, training materials, and user manuals. 
  6. Plans, designs, configures, upgrades, administers, and maintains the enterprise system, including LANS and WANS, Internet, e-mail and all aspects of hardware, software, operating systems, and inter-connectivity.
  7. Develops network systems architecture involving integration of multiple platforms, vendors’ products and technologies.
  8. Identifies, designs, recommends, and implements standards, conventions, and policies for network systems.
  9. Consults with current and proposed systems users on the design and feasibility of proposed systems and modifications; analyzes client needs; identifies alternatives; estimates cost and timing of systems modifications, purchase, and installation; designs and participates in the development, modification, enhancement, testing, and implementation of computer systems; develops, coordinates, and provides documentation, end user and staff training and orientation.
  10. Attends and participates in a variety of meetings, seminars, and committees; maintains liaison with vendor representatives.
  11. Coordinates projects or components of projects; acts as liaison between various entities and project stakeholders.
  12. Provide Tier III helpdesk escalation
  13. Evaluates and recommends hardware and software products, prepares budget estimates; assists departments with coordination of planning, budgeting, acquisition and implementation of systems.

About This Role:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer and you will be joining the Gateway team, who are responsible for the gateway layer of Demonware’s architecture. You would work on our gateway layer, which manages authentication, encryption and routing to all backend services, and manages millions of concurrent connections daily.

QA Engineer (Automation)

Responsibilities:

  • Completing automation testing tasks to ensure functional test coverage:
  • Create new automated tests using both  GLI and GUI-based automation frameworks.

Role:  The Manufacturing Engineering Technician position requires intermediate computer knowledge and product troubleshooting skills. The technician will support R&D, Manufacturing and Quality staff, performing a variety of activities associated with physical and software products, including technical analysis of returned devices with use of provided tools and training.  The Technician will be required to perform product assembly and disassembly.

We are looking for an engineering-focused vehicle technician to support the readiness of our fleet vehicles. The vehicle technician will perform maintenance, repairs, and contribute towards the operations of our workshop.   • Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road usage. May need to travel locally to perform this work from time to time

VDI System Engineer-Contract-Hybrid-Foster City, Ca

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) System Engineer

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for administering VMware and MS Active Directory based VDI environments. Our VDIs are NVIDIA vGPU-powered, so expertise in desktop virtualization with NVIDIA GRID is mandatory. Experience managing a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environment and/or preparing master Operating System images for deployment is expected. This position will work closely with the Infrastructure Engineer, AD and MDM Administrators and IT Client Services team to implement and manage various internally hosted Virtual Machines and related resources.   • The Logistics Project Analyst will support implementation of Logistics Programs and milestones and ensuring launch readiness within forecasted budget
