  • Manage the hardware/operating system testing footprint across multiple departments
  • Independently identify and troubleshoot hardware and software defects
  • Perform hardware and software interoperability checks across multiple platforms/products and report results
  • Execute and analyze manual and automated performance tests for new features and systems
  • Formulate strong relationships based on skills, knowledge, and trust, with Quality Assurance and Development teams
  • Develop and execute test cases covering system interactions and edge case scenarios
  • Execute network simulation tests on console, mobile, and desktop platforms
  • Prepare professional, well-documented evaluations of hardware and software
  • Audit existing tools, scripts, test cases, and documentation to maintain and improve processes


  • Minimum of 4 years combined professional desktop support and software testing experience
  • Exceptional communications skills (oral, written, and listening)
  • Flexible and team-oriented, with good interpersonal and follow-up skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in installing and maintaining all supported Windows and OS X operating systems
  • Experience with Windows, OS X, iOS, Android, and console testing
  • Working understanding of PC/Mac development and debugging tools
  • Knowledge of computer architecture, memory, systems, and power management
  • Proficient knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Microsoft Active Directory
  • Proven organizational and independent time management skills and able to work long hours including weekend


  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or an engineering discipline
  • Advanced IT or software testing certifications (ISTQB CTFL, CompTIA A+/Network+, VCA-WM, ACMT)
  • Scripting or software tool creation experience (Python, Lua, Java, Bash, Visual Basic, C#)
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Parallels, VirtualBox, iOS/Android emulators)


  • Pay $15-$24/hr
  • Contract duration is 6 months with opportunity to convert based upon performance
  • Looking for QA testers who can test their games across different software and have the ability to understand different peripherals.
  • MAC experience is a huge plus

As a Test Analyst, you will contribute to the testing efforts by generating test documentation, providing early feedback to shape the product, and executing test cases.   • Partner with test stakeholders to collaboratively identify and meet test objectives
  • Draft test plans with a strategic selection of test methods and approach
  • Analyze and prioritize the value of manual testing for automation
  • Develop test suites, cases, estimations, and report on durations
  • Execute test, document test results, and measure impact
  • Report on the user experience and test results, escalating when necessary
  • Understand design tenets and be an oracle of knowledge for a component, system, or feature

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience

  • Certified ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or equivalent

Technical Writer Contract at Gaming Giant in Redwood City, Ca!

We are looking for a technical writer to drive documentation quality for the Data Platform. This person will possess strong writing skills and have experience documenting software including APIs and SDKs. In addition to writing new content, this person will help organize large amounts of information in a way that facilitates end users finding the information they need. The writer must be able to understand and explain complex technical concepts to various internal technical groups.


  •  Create professional user documentation for a technical audience by collaborating with subject matter experts (product managers, software developers, etc)
  • Collect content submitted by product managers and engineers within the organization and curate to present a consistent style, tone and voice Evaluate the quality of existing technical documentation and work with internal teams to drive improvements
  • Review and edit existing technical documents to comply with documentation standards and best practices Proven and demonstrable writing experience with specifications, source code, and other resources
  • Make improvements in documentation management such as consolidation or applying best practices for consistency and ease of use Create visual diagrams to explain processes, system architecture, etc.
  • Ability to evaluate and organize technical information quickly and explain concepts and instructions clearly and concisely.  Identify key issues and formulate conclusions.
