Quality Technician-Long-Term Contract- Santa Clara, Ca

Shifts Available: First (6AM-3PM) and Second (3PM-11PM)

Assignment: 1 year+

Pay Range-$30-35/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with multi-functional teams responsible for processing new devices. You will need to successfully collaborate closely with highly talented engineers and technicians and participate in the development and engineering of process technology and equipment to enable new features for capital equipment products. You will be expected to execute on experiments, collect and organize data with minimum supervision. You will also be required to perform defect inspections, identify root cause and develop process improvement techniques to improve yield and efficiency.

Key Qualifications:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the design and development of manufacturing processes and/or equipment in DATACON, pick & place tools, solar cell, LED, SMT, semiconductor, or other similar industry
• Experience in one or more of the following process technologies: Bonding, lamination, inkjet printing, screen printing, etching, cleaning

• Strong troubleshooting and problem mitigation skills

• Proven ability to perform DOE, SPC, data analysis, and failure analysis
• Excellent written & verbal English communication skills are required.
• Strong energy and drive to thrive in a start-up like environment
• Detail oriented with experience scaling new technologies from prototype to MP scaling and ensuring excellent field performance.
• Experience in developing and manufacturing high volume display products is preferred

AS / BS in a technical field or military with technical discipline (hands on mechanical background preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Triage of incoming issue reports created from on-vehicle testing. This involves hands-on analysis (using log data, video data, and AI visualizations) to classify and prioritize issues.
  • Communicate and present summarizations of issues to feature/component teams and following them through to resolution.

Associate Compatibility QA-Contract- Gaming Icon-Remote Irvine, Ca

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with developers as features are delivered to ensure requirements are both verified and validated
  • Execute provided automated and manual testing tasks with an emphasis on test execution, test library maintenance, and test closure activities
  • Execute interoperability, performance, and network emulation test sweeps across multiple platforms and report results
  • Run and maintain automated testing scripts with the goal of increasing test coverage through automation
  • Support the test design effort through the creation and modification of test cases and work estimations

SR. Electrical Engineer- 3-6 month possible C2H

Role

  • Technical ownership of design of kW-level power systems for our satellites
  • Manage and control key components such as solar panel arrays, power regulation and distribution, and high-density batteries
  • Integrate these systems into the spacecraft by working closely with the rest of the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development
  • Experience in designing, building, and testing analog and digital circuits
  • Experience with kW level power electronics (DC-DC conversion, AC-DC conversion, etc)
  • Experience with PCB thermal considerations

Sr. Manufacturing Engineer-Contract-Medical Device-Santa Clara, CA

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for new product introduction and identifying and implementing continuous process improvements. The position will be responsible for on-demand production line support, define manufacturing driven metrics (cycle times, capacity, bottlenecks etc.), design, duplicate and/or deploy manufacturing fixture and tooling, develop and train on manufacturing processes and perform equipment qualification and process validation activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing production issues following GMP and company Quality Management System.
  • Identify root cause of operational failures and support Corrective and Preventative Action plans by provide solutions using problem-solving skills including Fishbone, 5 Whys or Pareto Charts.
  • Define and implement continuous process improvements to existing manufacturing operations including process verification, MFG documentation updates and process validation.
  • Design, document, assemble, qualify and release custom and off the shelf manufacturing and testing tooling, fixtures and equipment. Create and release associated maintenance and calibration procedures.
  • Perform routine equipment preventative maintenance and/or repair and serve as manufacturing liaison for external calibration activities.
  • Author and execute manufacturing documentation, including protocols, reports, manufacturing process instructions, standard operating procedures and equipment/fixture specifications.
  • Generate production metrics including yields, scrap rates, capacity/bottle necks and cycle times and routinely present to management.
  • Other manufacturing engineering duties or support as assigned or requested.
  • This role requires the use of varying levels of personal protective equipment (including, gowns, masks/face shields, gloves, and safety glasses).
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions over a period of time.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

Qualifications

Manufacturing/Test Technician-Medical Device-Santa Clara, CA

Overview:

This role is a tremendous opportunity to work on a surgical robotic platform that will require creative and innovative approaches to problem solving while interfacing with Electrical, Mechanical, Quality and Manufacturing engineers all contributing to the project.

Core Job Responsibilities – (Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following):

  • Assemble products in accordance with standard work instructions, MPIs, and prints
  • Perform factory test processes from component-level assemblies to the overall robotic system
  • Document test results as part of the device history record
  • Troubleshoot failures to module or component level assemblies. Clearly document the issues and communicate them to Test and Integration Engineers
  • Tests functional performance of completed assemblies using established procedures and test protocols
  • Operate and set up test equipment and fixtures
  • Facilitate preparation work such as line clearance, cycle counting and verifying equipment maintenance and calibrations dates
  • Ensure accuracy of documentation. Initiate basic material requests. Report quality or efficiency issues as needed
  • Maintain accuracy of material transactions and cycle count raw material, sub-assemblies and work-in-progress material on the line. Accurately determine and report shortages to the Production Supervisor or Manager
  • Follow all corporate, regulatory, safety and production policies and procedures
  • Assist engineers to build, assemble, test and characterize electronic prototype assemblies, breadboard circuit assemblies, printed circuit assemblies, cable assemblies, subsystems of the robotic platform
  • Troubleshoot failures to module or component level, and clearly document/communicate issues to engineers
  • Execute other duties as assigned

Required Experiences and Qualifications:

  • Required: Familiarity with basic hand tools and common electronic test equipment (multimeter, power supply, oscilloscope, etc)
  • Preferred: AA or AS degree or equivalent work experience. 2 year technical degree or equivalent experience or training.
  • Preferred: 3 years of minimum experience as a technician for a medical device company or complex electromechanical capital equipment manufacturer.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with anti-static/ESD principles and controls.
  • Comprehension in reading mechanical drawings and technical writing.
  • Ability to understand detailed schematics, system interconnect diagrams, and test procedures.
  • Adept at working in group settings or individually with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Has a positive attitude and is flexible to changes in work assignment.
  • Trade school, junior college certification in appropriate program or military specialist training (preferred)
  • Preferred: ERP experience (SAP or QAD)
  • Proficient in inventory tracking and order fulfillment systems.
  • Strong understanding of shipping and receiving, inventory management and dispensing of materials in a GMP regulated environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to exercise sound independent judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills such as Outlook, Microsoft Word/Excel are required maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted during work.
  • Solid written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
