Reliability and Maintenance Engineer-Contract-Foster City, Ca

The Reliability and Maintenance Engineer is part of the central equipment management team. This role will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and standardizing the preventive maintenance program for the equipment supporting manufacturing operations. 


Responsibilities 

● Maintain equipment master data and corresponding equipment documentation. 

● Support development of equipment preventive maintenance documents including maintenance strategy, critical spare parts list, maintenance schedules, work instructions, and lock out tag out procedures. 

● Develop checklists for autonomous maintenance of equipment. 

● Support vendor coordination for equipment maintenance activities. 

● Support equipment failure investigation to identify root cause/causal factors, prescribe corrective actions and follow through implementation. 

● Coordinate and manage new equipment installation and commissioning activities. 

Qualifications 

● BS in an engineering discipline or 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance and reliability domain. 

● Experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable. 

● Technical acumen to understand different types of equipment supporting prototyping, hardware assembly, vehicle manufacturing and assembly. 

● Ability to read and interpret equipment drawings, electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, and P&IDs. 

● Strong ability to document clear, concise, and unambiguous maintenance documents.

● Understanding of criticality analysis, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), Total productive maintenance (TPM), and Reliability centered maintenance (RCM) tools.

VDI System Engineer-Contract-Hybrid-Foster City, Ca

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) System Engineer

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for administering VMware and MS Active Directory based VDI environments. Our VDIs are NVIDIA vGPU-powered, so expertise in desktop virtualization with NVIDIA GRID is mandatory. Experience managing a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environment and/or preparing master Operating System images for deployment is expected. This position will work closely with the Infrastructure Engineer, AD and MDM Administrators and IT Client Services team to implement and manage various internally hosted Virtual Machines and related resources. Candidate will collaborate and liaise with other teams within the organization as well as the VDI team members to identify, track and report on opportunities for system optimization, methods to drive efficiency, identify and reduce error rates, and empirically document customer experience.

  • Demonstrate a strong background in managing VMware solutions
  • Work with engineering users and application support to validate application functionality in the VDI environment
  • Maintain high service availability by liaising with many stakeholders to identify risk and threats to the delivery of VDI services
  • Rapidly identify and correct faults impacting service delivery
  • Updates/remediates patching of ESXi host devices
  • Collaborates with other Systems Administrators with troubleshooting and resolving issues that negatively affect the customer’s virtual computing environment.
  • Compiles the VDI Operating System image (Windows and Ubuntu) for testing and deployment to the user production environment.
  • Maintains fully patched/updated/mitigated Operating System image for testing and production, and provides assistance to customers with operations of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) systems.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in an enterprise environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience leading the design and implementation of VMware based solutions.
  • Significant experience managing virtual desktop infrastructure.
  • Skilled with PowerShell and Bash scripting.
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations based on national and local trends and to design processes that enhance services while maximizing college resources.

Hardware Test Technician-Contract-Foster City, Ca

As a part of our Hardware Test team, our technicians setup, execute, and debug tests on our sensors and compute hardware. Our team is responsible for testing hardware to ensure high performance and high reliability. We are detail oriented to ensure our test plans are executed with high fidelity. We are collaborative and work together to tackle projects as a team. We are looking for motivated individuals who have experience with electrical subsystems, aren’t afraid to challenge themselves and are eager to learn.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General harness fabrication and testing
  • Support test setups by following diagrams and working with engineers to collect data
  • Provide feedback to engineers on how to improve testing
  • Manage calibration of test equipment by external vendors
  • Test equipment procurement and support
  • Maintain and optimize hardware labs
  • Attach instrumentation (thermocouples, probes, accelerometers) to test units


QUALIFICATIONS (Must-Haves)

CPQ Finance Consultant- Part-time-Remote

Summary

This role will be responsible for flowcharting, documenting and testing the Finance portion of the CPQ (Configure Price and Quote) system.  Flowcharting will include the “as-is and “to-be” processes. 

This project has three phases with Phase 1 planning to go live in Q4 2022, Phase 2 Q1 2023 and Phase 3 by mid-year 2023.

It is anticipated that this consultant will work an average of approximately 20 hours per week although there may be peak periods where more hours will be required. 

Responsibilities

• Work with Operations Finance and other functions in flowcharting “As-Is” process for contract processing and invoicing.

• Provide process documentation and desk procedures.

• User Acceptance Testing, in validating new process flows, and other systems testing that will be required.

• Ensure all existing reports and system feeds are tested and working per requirements.

• Report creation and testing of new reports.

• Documentation and testing of transition processes (partial CPQ and legacy spread sheets).

• Work onrevenue recognition testing and documenting the revenue recognition for the three phases.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience working on financial infrastructure projects in a consulting, public accounting or corporate role.
  • Hands-on experience doing system testing.
  • Hands-on experience in documenting and flowcharting processes in both a structured and unstructured environment.
  • Hands-on experience documenting procedures and operating instructions.
  • Working knowledge and hands-on expertise in Oracle, ideally V19.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of expertise in Excel.
  • Ability to write reports in Oracle and Tableau a plus.
  • Knowledge of ASC 606 within the media business a plus.
  • Ability to be able to work with team members in related finance and other areas in a collaborative way where authority is not direct.

Hardware Software Integration Lead-Contract-Hybrid- Foster City, Ca

The Hardware Software Integration team is responsible for ensuring various hardware subsystems work reliably on our vehicle platform.  As a Hardware Test Automation engineer, you will develop tests to characterize, maintain and deploy next generation hardware systems for autonomous vehicles.

Candidates should have a Python programming background and knowledge of using APIs and other existing frameworks.  This role is essential and fundamental throughout the testing stage of the vehicle program to ensure that the hardware systems can be quickly and reliably tested. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and technical expertise in writing clean, efficient and scalable code.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write test scripts and diagnostic software to test hardware on autonomous vehicle platforms
  • Create or update GUIs for operators and technicians to easily interface with the testing software
  • Support the integration and testing of prototype hardware
  • Work with cross-functional teams to solve issues observed in the field
  • Develop documentation on the usage of these test frameworks for others to us
